Lance-Leaved Coreopsis (Coreopsis lanceolata) is a drought tolerant perennial which can also withstand prolonged periods of moisture. Flower rays are yellow and toothed along the outer margins with yellow disks. Very showy when massed. Reseeds well. Normally takes two years to become established.
This plant is another workhorse in establishing wildflower meadows for erosion control and can service in more industrial applications. Great for overseeding power lines, gas utility, and airport rights of way. Will grow in a wide variety of soils and fertility levels.
