A native of Mexico, Sulphur Cosmos (Cosmos sulphureus) is a quick-blooming annual that can easily adapt to all regions of the United States. An erect plant requiring very little moisture once established. Its flowers are a gorgeous mix of orange, yellow or burgundy. Leaves are dissected and thread-like in appearance. Seeds should be sown in the spring or early summer. Plants are not winter hardy and need replanting each spring for continued success.

Summer seeding in July will give outstanding gold, orange fall color.
